Workshop Wednesday ~ 12/3/25
Join me on Facebook this Wednesday, December 3rd, for Workshop Wednesday!
We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple Series. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off, but there is always a “special technique”!
This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #37 on page 78 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!
Fast 2 Fab, Part 2 — 14 Photos on One National Park Layout!
This week, we’re continuing right where we left off in my daughter’s National Park Album — using the back side of the Fast 2 Fab™ page from the last episode of Keeping Scrapbookin Simple. And yes… we are fitting FOURTEEN photos onto this spread!
Fast 2 Fab pages make this possible without the overwhelm. With the base design already in place, all I had to do was layer in photos, add a few simple accents, and let the storytelling happen naturally. This approach keeps everything clean and cohesive — even with a high photo count.
Whether you have a huge stack of National Park pictures or you simply want to catch up quickly in any album, this is such an effective way to get lots of memories onto the page without sacrificing style.
✨ This week’s layout includes:
The back side of last week’s Fast 2 Fab page
14 photos arranged cleanly and intentionally
Tips for placing large, small, and vertical photos for balance
A focus on simplicity — letting the photos take center stage
Another major step toward finishing Volume 1 of the National Park album!
Scrapbooking doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. With Fast 2 Fab pages and a little creative arranging, you can turn a big batch of photos into a beautiful layout in no time.
Happy scrapping,
Diane
