We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple Series. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off, but there is always a “special technique”!

This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #11 on page 26 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!

From Winter Chill to Canyon Thrill — Grand Canyon Layout 2

This week, we’re back in my daughter’s National Park Album, working on Layout 2 of the Grand Canyon — and I’m doing something I love: taking a winter-themed layout and giving it a whole new life!

Using a design originally meant for snowy scenes, I’m transforming it into a warm, earthy layout that perfectly captures the stunning beauty of the Grand Canyon. By simply switching out the papers and adjusting a few design elements, this once wintery page now blends seamlessly with the first layout in the series.
