Hat’s Off! Quick & Cute Plus Cutting Guide (3-double page layouts)

Quick & Cute Layouts with the Hats Off! Graduation Collection

Graduation season is filled with unforgettable moments — proud smiles, caps tossed in the air, heartfelt celebrations, and milestones worth remembering. That’s exactly what inspired me to create these brand-new Quick & Cute Plus Layouts using the Creative Memories Hats Off! Graduation Collection.

This project is also the introduction to a new layout style I’ll be sharing more of in the future!

What Are Quick & Cute Layouts?

Quick & Cute Layouts are designed to help you create scrapbook pages that are:

  • Simple to put together

  • Fast to complete

  • Easy to follow

  • Beautiful without needing complicated techniques

These layouts focus on using the papers and embellishments already included in a collection, along with minimal or basic tools and easier cuts. They’re perfect for busy scrapbookers who still want polished, meaningful pages without spending hours designing from scratch.

Whether you’re newer to scrapbooking or simply want a faster way to get memories documented, this style is meant to make creating feel fun and achievable.

What’s Included in the Cutting Guide?

For each layout, you’ll find:
✔️ A full-page sketch
✔️ A completed photo sample
✔️ A supply list
✔️ Cutting instructions and measurements

Everything is laid out step-by-step so you can focus less on planning and more on enjoying the creative process.

Designed with Graduation Memories in Mind

Because graduation layouts often focus on one special person, each design includes one or two focal photo areas to really highlight those important moments. I especially love double matting these photos because it naturally draws attention to the graduate and helps the memories stand out on the page.

You’ll also notice I consistently used the Cable Weave BMC for the punched accents throughout the layouts. That choice was intentional for several reasons:

  • It reminds me of the graduation cords students often wear

  • It creates consistency across all the pages if they’re used together in one album

  • It gives you inspiration for how repeating a design element can tie an album together beautifully

Of course, you can easily swap this out for another border maker cartridge or embellishment style that better matches your own theme or graduate.
