Workshop Wednesday ~ 7/23/25
Join me on Facebook this Wednesday, July 923rd, for Workshop Wednesday!
We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple Series. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off, but there is always a “special technique”!
This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #8 on page 20 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!
Workshop Wednesday: One Design, Two Stories — National Park Scrapbooking Made Simple
This week’s Workshop Wednesday is another stop on the journey through my daughter’s National Park scrapbook — and I’ve got a fun twist to share!
Using a layout design from the 52 Project Recipe Book, I’m showing you how to take a double-page spread and split it into two single-page layouts, each telling its own story from separate park adventures. It’s a great way to stretch your designs and get even more pages done — without starting from scratch!
For this project, I’m featuring the Desert Scenes Paper Pack, perfect for highlighting sun-soaked landscapes, rugged trails, and wide-open skies. 🌵☀️
✨ This week’s highlights:
Turning one layout into two without losing design flow
Using the Desert Scenes pack to add warmth and natural texture
Tips for simplifying your storytelling while still showcasing the details
More progress on that National Park album (yay for getting pages DONE!)
If you’re working on a travel album, a nature-themed project, or just love creative ways to repurpose layout ideas, this is one you won’t want to miss.
See you there!
Happy scrapping,
Diane
