Workshop Wednesday ~ 9/3/25
Join me on Facebook this Wednesday, September 3rd, for Workshop Wednesday!
We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple Series. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off, but there is always a “special technique”!
This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #4 on page 12 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!
Workshop Wednesday: Mountain Meets Coast — Keeping Scrapbooking Simple
This week, we’re diving back into my daughter’s National Park Album with another layout from the Keeping Scrapbooking Simple series. Our focus? A breathtaking mountain coast design that brings together scenic views and stress-free scrapbooking.
I’ll be walking you step by step through a 2-page layout that proves simple doesn’t have to mean boring. By combining clean lines with thoughtful paper choices, you’ll see how easy it is to create pages that are both beautiful and manageable — no overthinking required. Plus! See how I tackle 17 photos for this adventure!
✨ What you’ll love about this design:
A versatile layout you can adapt for National Park adventures or your own travel memories
Easy-to-follow steps for pulling together a polished 2-page spread
A balance of scenic focus and space for your photos
Simple techniques that let your paper and photos shine
If you’ve ever felt stuck or overwhelmed about where to start, this layout is a great reminder that keeping it simple can still lead to stunning results. Scrapbooking is all about the stories and memories — and sometimes the best pages are the ones that come together with ease.
So grab your supplies, and let’s create something that captures the beauty of both the mountains and the coast!
Happy scrapping,
Diane
