Session 2: Your First Double-Page Layout
12 Months to Memories ~ Scrapbooking for Busy People
Welcome to Session 2 of 12 Months to Memories!
If you joined us for Session 1 — great job getting started. If you’re jumping in now, you’re still right on time.
This session is all about creating your first double-page layout using a simple, repeatable approach that works for busy scrapbookers.
What We’re Working on in Session 2
In this session, we’ll:
Create one complete double-page layout
Use a simple layout style that can be repeated again and again
Focus on progress over perfection
The goal is not to scrapbook fast — it’s to scrapbook consistently.
One layout at a time adds up quickly over the course of a year.
What to Bring to Session 2
Keep this simple. You only need enough supplies for one layout.
Bring:
Printed photos for one event, moment, or theme
Cardstock (2–3 coordinating colors)
Patterned paper
A few embellishments (stickers, die-cuts, journaling cards)
Adhesive
Busy People Tip:
Do not pull supplies for multiple layouts. Limiting your choices makes this session easier and more enjoyable.
Layout Style & Supplies
I’ll be choosing the layout style for you and walking you through it step by step during the session. This removes the guesswork and helps you focus on creating.
I’ll be using a Creative Memories collection, but please shop your stash.
You do not need the same products I’m using for your layout to be successful.
If You’re Short on Time
If life feels full this week:
Attend live and do what you can
Or watch the replay later and scrapbook in short sessions
Even partial progress counts.
This series is designed to work with your real life, not against it.
Replay & Catch-Up Friendly
Can’t attend live? No worries at all.
A replay will be available, and you can complete this layout on your own schedule.
You can also revisit this session anytime throughout the year if you want to repeat this layout style.
Remember This
You’re doing this right if:
You showed up
You worked on one layout
You made progress, even if it’s not “finished”
Consistency matters more than speed.
