Organizing Photos & Creating Your Album Title Page

Welcome to 12 Months to Memories ~ Scrapbooking for Busy People!
I’m so excited to kick off this year-long journey with you. Our first class is all about setting the foundation for a successful album — because a little prep now makes the rest of the year feel easy and fun.

What We’ll Be Doing in Class One

📸 Organizing Your Photos

We’ll start by talking through a simple, realistic system for organizing your photos so they’re ready to scrapbook — without overthinking or getting stuck.

I’ll be sharing my personal process and how I organize photos by layout so I can actually get pages done.

📖 Creating Your Album Title Page

Then we will create a Title Page for your album. This page sets the tone for the entire project and gives your album a finished, intentional feel right from the start.

Don’t worry — this will be simple, doable, and a great way to ease into the year.

Helpful Supplies to Have on Hand

These are not required, but they make the process much easier and more organized:

• Creative Memories Power Sort Box – perfect for sorting and organizing photos

• Creative Memories Power Simple Pockets – great for grouping photos and supplies by layout

If you already have something similar, use what you have!

What to Bring to Class

Please have these items ready so you can follow along easily:

• Your photos (printed and ready to organize)

• Supplies for your Title Page (see sketch):

  • Patterned paper

  • Cardstock

  • Fun embellishments

About Supplies & Collections

For my title page, I’ll be using the Noteworthy Collection.
You’re welcome to use the same collection or shop your stash and choose something you love.

Important reminder:
Check your stash, but don’t spend a lot of time on this. This class is about momentum, not perfection.

Make sure to get your album and pages. We are going to start filling it up!

This series is designed to keep scrapbooking simple, approachable, and achievable. You don’t need everything figured out — just show up, follow along, and make progress.
