The Real Cost Benefits of Becoming a Creative Memories Advisor

Past posts in this series

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a Creative Memories Advisor, one of the first questions that probably comes to mind is:

“What does it really cost… and is it worth it?”

That’s a smart question — and one I believe deserves a clear, honest answer.

This isn’t about hype or big promises. It’s about helping you understand what you’re stepping into so you can make the best decision for you.

Let’s Start With the Cost

To become an Advisor with Creative Memories, there is an initial sign-up cost, which is $49 (per year)

What you’re really paying for includes:

  • Access to the Advisor platform

  • The ability to purchase products and earn a commission (some like to say discount)

  • Access to Advisor Exclusive products

  • $50 CM Credit, available immediately

  • Free Join Gift - you choose from four wonderful items

    Ongoing Costs (Let’s Be Real)

    This is where honesty matters.

There are no large ongoing fees required just to stay active, but most Advisors naturally:

    • Purchase products (because we love them!)

    • Invest in supplies for classes or projects

    • Spend time building their skills

So while this isn’t a “high overhead” business, it does involve some level of personal investment — especially if you want to grow.

    The Benefits (Beyond the Numbers)

Now let’s talk about the part people don’t always measure…

    1. Product Discounts

If you already love Creative Memories, this is one of the biggest benefits. Many Advisors join simply to save on what they’re already buying. You get a commission on the products you buy/sell. It’s given back to you the next week.

    2. Creative Community

This is honestly the heart of it.

On my team — you’re not doing this alone. You’re part of a group that shares ideas, encourages each other, and celebrates progress.

    3. Learning & Growth

    You’ll gain:

    • New scrapbooking techniques

    • Teaching confidence (if you want it)

    • Organization skills

    • Even business skills (without pressure)

      4. Flexibility

This is something I value deeply.

      You can:

      • Work online or in person

      • Teach or not teach

      • Build a business or simply enjoy the perks

It truly fits into your life — not the other way around.

      5. Income Potential (At Your Pace)

Income is possible, but it’s important to set realistic expectations.

      This isn’t instant or passive.
      It grows through:

      • consistency

      • relationships
        showing up over time

Some Advisors earn enough to cover their hobby. Others build a meaningful side income.

      So… Is It Worth It?

      That depends on you.

      If you:

      • Already love scrapbooking

      • Want to be part of a creative, encouraging community

      • Would enjoy sharing or teaching (even a little)

      • Are okay growing something slowly and naturally

Then yes — it can absolutely be worth it.

      If you’re looking for:

      • Fast money

      • No effort Or something completely hands-off

Then this probably isn’t the right fit — and that’s okay too.

A Different Way to Think About It

      Instead of asking:

      “Will I make money?”

      Try asking:

“Will this add value to my life?”

      More creativity
      More connection
      More purpose
More consistency in preserving your memories

For many of us… that’s where the real return is.

      Curious But Not Sure?

That’s the best place to be.

You don’t have to decide today.
You don’t have to commit to anything.

      If you’d like to:

      • Ask questions

      • See what it looks like behind the scenes

      • Or just talk it through

      I’m always happy to chat.

      You can message me anytime

      No pressure — just possibilities.
